My Buddy this week

Grandma Karrie and Grandpa Jim are in Hawaii this week. Nathan gets to spend his days with me and nap times too. He really is such a good boy. Today he told me he wanted to go in his crib. It was only 1:30 p.m. He usually doesn't go down till 2:00 p.m. I gladly put him down and he slept till 4:00 p.m. It was a good day at Grandma Shelly's. He went with me to LAX too, to pick up Aunt Sandi. She was happy to see her little Nathy.

More of the days waves and tide

This wave was one of the smaller ones.
I don't think I've ever seen the waves come up this much in Redondo Beach.
The waves were nice for the surfers today. I think because of Hurricane Rick.

2009 Redondo 2nd Ward Primary Program a Success!

Here is most of our Primary Children and Teachers. We had a wonderful program:
"My Eternal Family" was the message. The children all did well and sang well. We had fun taking these photos as they were all saying Cheeeeeeeeese!
Down to the beach this morning for a little work out in the sand. It was so pretty there this morning. Big waves, the surfers were having a blast. I had fun enjoying the beauty of where we live. How many times have I said? "I love where I live".
Baby birds playing around the waves.

Volleyball Friends this past summer...

Today was a great day down in Redondo Beach, Knob Hill. This is where I play each week and the ladies I play with. This photo was taken in May 2009. One of my friends from High School (Nancy Hammond McNeil) was visiting from OR and came and played a few games with us. She and I played in High School together. She is the one wearing the red hat, and BYU t-shirt.
Left to right: Andrea, Shelly, Nancy, Shelly, Heather and Alisha in the front.
Great ladies and great Volleyball. We have skills!

TUACAHN Amphitheatre "AIDA"

This is where we saw the musical "AIDA". All the music is written by Elton John and Tim Rice. I loved it. It is a love story set in a perfect setting for the outdoor amphitheatre with the Red Rock back round. If you ever get a chance to see it there, do it.
Bryan and Kelly heading toward the amphitheatre.
Rebeccas roommate Sylvia, from EFY randomly was there the same night. They found out they were both heading to St. George as we were driving up and Becca texed her. This was not planned. It was pretty cool since they have been trying to get together and she is from Draper, UT. The next day they got to hang out at the mall and have lunch together. We got to meet her sisters and family who were down visiting friends.
Claudia after one of our shopping adventures
This is the cool park near the Old Tabernacle. They have made this little stream and it was still warm enough for us and some little kids to run through and get wet.

I just love Bees..........and Cafe Rio

We met up for lunch at Cafe Rio and took it to the park by the Old Tabernacle. We didn't know the town Bees would bee there. It really was a battle trying to eat our wonderful salads. Scott tried to distract them with this Root Beer that they seemed to really enjoy.
Kelly and Bryan on Main street in St. George by the fountains, where they have built a wonderful park by the old Tabernacle.
We celebrated Kelly, Bryan and Claudia's Birthdays!
The view from my parents home in St. George. I love to see the Temple.
Rob and Scott before one of the golf adventures!
