Missing Kelly!!!!

Kelly had been gone a week and one half now. She has sent us two emails from Germany, and sounds like she is enjoying herself there. We miss her. Here is Kelly and Rachel at Macaroni Grill the day before she left. Good times.

Here is most of the family outside of Macaroni Grill. I'll name everyone left to right. Aunt Pat, Kevin, Nathan, Me (Shelly), Amber, Kris, Ryker, Blaize, Joe, Becca, Grandpa/ma Hansen, Kelly, Matt, Rachel and Sandi. Scott and Ryan weren't able to attend.

Wednesday is Volleyball fun at Knob Hill

Every Wednesday I try and play Volleyball down at Knob Hill Beach.

These are some of the ladies I play with: Shelley, Alesia, Rita and Kim. They are great volleyball players. This game keeps me going. I feel like I'm on a short mini vacation everytime I play.

1st outing with Nathan and Amber

Got to push Nathan in his brand new stroller and take him and Amber on an errand to the Nursing Clinic. He and mom are doing great and that day gained 2.4 oz. So he is gaining well.

Got a call from Scott and he had locked himself out of his Carter's work truck. So Nathan came by with his keys on top of his blanket and gave them to Grandpa and saved the day. He is a busy boy already. He is holding on to his pacifier so Grandpa Scott won't take it from him.

Kelly honored for recieving her Young Women's Recognition

Kelly was honored at the LDS Stake Center with 11 other Young Women from the Torrance North Stake. She and Rosie Levy and Ashley Graham recieved the recognition a little later and were a couple years older than most of the girls.
We are very proud of Kelly and all her efforts put towards this award.

Ashley and Byron Sealed in Hawaii Temple

Ashley and Byron were sealed in Laie, Hawaiian Temple 5 days after Lindsay and Matt were married. The Carter's have been busy with weddings.
The open house was at Alex and Mary Madrid's home. It was a lovely evening with lots of good friends and family. We are so happy for these two, it was worth the wait!

Wedding Sealing and Reception for Lindsay and Matt Hersam

Lindsay and Matt were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple May 4th Friday, 2007. It was a wonderfully sweet ceremony. They are a darling couple. We wish them all the best. They are both back at BYU finishing up their schooling.

We loved meeting all their family and friends. Their reception was beautiful. Lindsay looked gorgeous. We wish you much joy and happiness always.

We have had to go over to Amber and Kevins almost every day except today to see Nathan and how he has changed. Today we gave him a day off from all of us.
