We traveled to Rome by train from Florence, here is one of the signs at the train station as we were getting close.
It was really hot when we arrived in Rome, thankfully for only one day, we are standing here outside the coliseum.
Looking at this picuture you have no idea how HOT it is here. We felt like we were going to melt.

It's so neat to see all the old buildings and cobblestone roads. You guys look great...I'd never know it was scorching hot weather.
